Content That Matters was founded by me, Tammy Brown, in 2023. My passion for reading and writing started when I was a little girl. I decided to be a copywriter because I love to write for Causes, Nonprofits, and the Christian markets. I love the idea of writing for organizations working to make positive changes in their communities and the world at large. I have compassion for these markets, and it makes me feel good and proud that I have made a difference.
After attending East Carolina University for two years, I joined the United States Air Force. I served about eight years as an Audio Visual and Administrative Assistant on active duty and in the Air National Guard. I also have 20 years of Administrative Assistant experience in the civilian world. During these years, I worked for several renowned companies, including an information services company and architectural and engineering firms. I also had my own Administrative Assistant business, Tender Letter Care. Long hours, teamwork, and perseverance proved to be vital work habits for the rest of my life. I enjoyed my time in the service and working as an Administrative Assistant, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

HOBBIES
My hobbies are reading and writing. I love to read my Bible every day, and I have read my Bible from cover to cover four times. I also love to read and write anything related to nonprofits, causes, Christians, and historical fiction. I hope to write a novel in the future. I participate with several chronic pain support groups and I have a blog on chronic pain. I enjoy my cat, Angel, who has been a fantastic emotional support and friend to me.
